Naval Postgraduate School
HS works closely with the US Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California on the development and implementation of the Rapid Telecommunications Assessment Team protocols for disaster response.
Innovatio is a close affiliate with IHS on topics related to data discovery and visualization, the Human Security Taxonomy, the provisioning of drinking water in austere environments, and distributed renewable energy in disaster zones.
Rocky Mountain Institute
RMI is a valued source for distributed energy data, critical infrastructure analysis, and other topics related to a transitional economy. Dr. Rasmussen serves as a Senior Fellow at RMI.
AlterTerra is a bi-national environmental NGO working border issues near San Diego. We are working with them on several issues around slums in northern Mexico.
University of Washington
UW is an outstanding resource for issues around Living Buildings, computer science, global public health, and outbreak epidemiology. Dr. Rasmussen is teaching faculty within the School of Public Health.
Pacific Disaster Center
PDC is a part of the University of Hawaii and our partner site for disseminating data collected by IHS when we're working within disaster zones.
Bicol is located in Legazpi in the central Philippines. Originally introduced to us by NPS, they are the IHS-preferred site for disaster training and for deployment team members when IHS deploys to disasters in the Philippines.
Qualcomm Institute Calit2
The Qualcomm Institute at the University of California in San Diego is a part of the national supercomputer grid and they are specialists in the mining and visualization of massive and complex data sets. We work together on understanding more than 40 datasets submitted to IHS from sites around the world.
Puralytics is our closest water partner, and the source for the IP and technology IHS prefers to use for water purification in the field.

National Defense University in Washington DC is the site of the Center for Technology and National Security Policy - the home of STAR-TIDES, of which IHS is an affiliate.
